Cheating again with an oldie but goodie.
I used these two Lime Hawk Moths locked in a loving clinch for one of my first ever posts.
After they finished clinching, they posed very politely for a more appropriately positioned picture:

Taking their bows??
lol!
Most likely 🙂
Maybe having a smoke! lol 😀
I think is my favourite of those I’ve seen so far. They do seem very content… 🙂
Beautiful! Mother nature dresses up, military style, or should I rephrase that as “humans are copycats when it comes to camouflage”? 🙂
They certainly are …. but I guess moths can’t sue for breach of copyright 🙂
You’re right. Judges should tell cry babies to grow up instead of opening a can of worms the wrong way: http://www.dpreview.com/news/2012/01/25/Imitated_Image_Copyright_Case
awesome shot, I am going yo put up a bug today.
I saw it. It’s fab!
Excellent.. Like parked aeroplanes !
Great, aren’t they. And they didn’t take off again for at least an hour!
I like their camouflage patterns!
It didn’t camouflage them too well on a wooden fence though 🙂
I’ve seen these moths before… it seems the idea of army uniform came from them 🙂 nice shot!
It certainly looks like military camouflage. Whatever works, I suppose.
Those are amazing! I have never seen them before – gorgeous.
I’d never seen them before that day either. Fabulous, aren’t they 🙂
