Now that dewdrops have been conquered (hah!) I thought I’d mess around with other watery subjects.
Don’t ask why, but I thought it was a good idea to take various pictures of a spraying shower head that was laying face up in my bath tub (as you do).
Well, at least it washed a bit of the mud of the lens 🙂

Brave little lens 🙂
Certainly is! In the last couple of weeks it’s been pointed straight at the sun a few times, caked in mud, and drenched in shower water. Auto-focus has given up on me, but it’s still rocking! :o)

Bang on- Lovely shots!!
Thanks for saying so 🙂
This is photographic art! Some of these images would look awesome enlarged and framed.
Well … thank you very much!
Actually, I have others from this same series of pictures that I believe are better, because they show more droplets in focus, and I thought the same thing when I saw them. Amazing what beauty you can get from the end of a shower hose 🙂
wow, I would happily purchase something like that to adorn my walls. Yes indeed, so much beauty in the simplest everyday things 🙂
Beautiful!
I may give that a go 🙂
Great Shots! I agree frame a few.
Pretty!
Sweet shots! The top one is dynamite.
I like the top one too. It’s kind of cool how just one, single drop is in focus 🙂

I agree … the top one is dynamite!
Besides … each week, it’s such a delight to arrive here and see your header 😉
The last one with the hexagonal drops intrigues me. After all, we know that water crystals / snowflakes are hexagonal, and we know that your macro lens can take shots that are incredibly closely focused. Is it at all possible that water drops are really hexagonal?????
You see …. now all that you’ve succeeded in doing is messing with my head! 🙂

Nifty collection of shots!
Some of the best surprises arise from silly experiments 🙂

What a great interpretation for this week’s challenge. Crystals and drops of water captured through your lens. Very nice.
Thank you. I was really surprised with some of the pictures that came out of this. Not to mention a very soggy lens!
Great idea!
Thanks. At least it washed the mud of from last week’s explorations 🙂

Nice ones… I personally have a thing for water drops 🙂
Thanks. Dew drops drove me nuts for a while … but I’ve become quite intrigued by water lately.

Very artistic and elegant! Beautiful pictures! 🙂
Thank you. I didn’t know what to expect when I took them – but I’m liking the results 🙂
Nice work. I especially like the first one.

Me too. Thanks.
Hya Alice – – seeing as there hasn’t been an official weekly photo challenge this week, I’m stepping up and throwing down a challenge for anyone who’s interested. http://wheresmybackpack.wordpress.com/2012/05/12/reflections/
I’d love you to join in – the more the merrier. Pass it on. xxx Ailsa
