Flying back from America to England, we were following the sun as it set. I took this, and several other pictures, by pointing the camera (a little inexpensive Nikon Coolpix) directly at the sun as it went down. I assume this was some kind of optical illusion, but it hasn’t been manipulated in any way, except through colour correction on Photoshop. The other pics from the same group were also remarkable in colour/aura, but this was the only one that appears to bounce its own reflection.

a really great effect with the reflection
Thanks.
I guess you never know what you’ll get when you point a perfectly good camera directly at the sun from an aeroplane! 🙂
